Ebike Tours
Speaking of ebikes, a great way to spend Memorial Day 2021 with your family is by taking an electric bike tour of LA! Bikes and Hikes LA boasts 3 incredible, insanely fun daily bike tours of LA – our famous, popular “LA in a Day” Bike Tour, our iconic Hollywood Bike Adventure, and our star-studded Beverly Hills Bike Tour, our celebrity homes bike tour of Los Angeles! While all of those tours rock already, our top recommendation for things to do in LA for Memorial Day weekend is to upgrade to an electric bike tour of LA, and see the top sights in Hollywood while cruising at top speed! We offer an option for all guests to upgrade to an e-bike for all of our LA bike tours, and we can’t recommend it enough! We also have private, exclusive VIP bike tours- more on that below! Our ebike tours of Los Angeles are a great way to ease into the swing of things in LA, especially if there are members of your group who don’t have a lot of bike riding experience. Our LA ebike tours are as simple as- dare we say- riding a bike?
Outdoor Exploring- Hike in Runyon Canyon and Griffith Park!
We love to hike in LA. Hiking is part of our culture, it’s in our blood, and we can’t wait to hike with you this summer! No doubt your Memorial Day weekend plans include a barbecue or two (or three!! Live it up!) so why not get in a great LA workout beforehand by doing two of the most quintessential hikes in LA? Bikes and Hikes LA is located in the heart of West Hollywood, and one of our favorite places to hike and to spot celebrities is Runyon Canyon! Runyon Canyon, just steps away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is one of the best places to hike in LA. There are a number of trails filled with beautiful vistas and beautiful hikers! We’ll take you on an early morning hike tour of Runyon Canyon to get your blood pumping and get you up and at ’em first thing! Our private Runyon Canyon Hike tour is great for the early birds and go getters in your group, as well as anyone who’s ever dreamed about watching the sun rise over LA. Our other favorite outdoor hike tour is, of course, hiking in Griffith Park and hiking to the Hollywood Sign! Book any of our daily Hollywood Hills Hikes in Griffith Park or find out how to hike to the Hollywood Sign on our spectacular Hollywood Sign Hike Tour. We The Monarch Cafe – LA’s Newest Outdoor Café!
Hungry? Looking to grab a bite in between stops during your Memorial Day Weekend trip to LA? We’re so pleased to announce the opening of LA’s newest café, The Monarch Café at Bike Shop LA! Our new West Hollywood café is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or pick me up before or after your LA bike tour, or if you’re just passing through! The Monarch Café is open 7 days a week, and is a protected butterfly sanctuary for our winged friends! It’s a great place to sit and do some writing, catch up with a friend, and just soak up that famous LA sunshine – come on by, sit, and stay a while!
Bike Through Malibu, Venice, and Beyond – Beach Bike Tours!
Finally, it wouldn’t be Memorial Day weekend without a few trips to the beach! Let us take you on one of our famous outdoor LA biking tours in Venice Beach, Santa Monica, or Malibu! All of our LA beach bike tours are available, and we’ll roll out the red carpet for you and your group. Take your family on a Malibu bike tour, and chase waterfalls with us. Bike through Venice and Santa Monica, and enjoy a few bites on the beach. We can even take you and your group to the south bay beaches of Hermosa and Manhattan beach for an easy, breezy beach bike ride along the famous strand, the 22 mile biking and running beach path that lines the Pacific Ocean in LA. We’re happy to hook you and your family up with a private beach bike tour, and celebrate watching the sun set over LA!
So! In conclusion, this Memorial Day, make your LA vacation a *memorable* one and let Bikes and Hikes LA help you curate the trip of your dreams!
