About Private Group Mindfulness Experience

Join us on an epic outdoor experience of mindfulness married with nature and exercise. Physical activity. Beautiful scenery. Who doesn’t like the occasional hike in the great outdoors? Adding a little extra awareness to the experience can benefit your body and mind. Bikes and Hikes LA is proud to present our latest VIP Group Experience: our Private Group Mindfulness Experience, available as an add-on to any of our private group hiking tours.

Spending time in nature has healing and restorative power. Being outdoors increases well-being, helps alleviate stress and anxiety, promotes creativity, assists with recovery from mental fatigue, helps restore attention, boosts the brain’s ability to think, and engages the senses. During our Mindfulness Experience, groups will have the opportunity to unplug, connect with nature, and stimulate their minds, creativity, and souls.

The Mindfulness Experience is a bonus addition for any of our group hiking tours, where we allow guests to participate in mindful meditation and guided breathing exercises, lead by a mindfulness guru, during an invigorating hike tour. Groups can select the hike tour location best suited to their fitness goals and desired destination, and in addition to a guided hike, team members will be able to participate in mindfulness activities stimulating the brain, awakening the senses, and fostering positive mental health for all. The experience includes a 20-minute introduction to meditation session. Guests will learn the fundamentals of mindful meditation while enjoying the spectacular southern California surroundings. While a regular seated meditation practice is a very important, finding opportunities to practice mindfulness in other ways is beneficial as well. Short, simple mindfulness exercises incorporated into an activity such as hiking are an easy, enjoyable, and surprisingly effective way of being more mindful. Our group mindfulness experience also features a guided group yoga session and conservancy program as add-ons.
