About Orange County Hike Tour
One of the best trails in Orange County, this fantastic trail network boasts dramatic views down canyons to the Pacific Ocean all the way to Catalina Island and east to Santiago Peak and the Santa Ana Mountains. The trail splits between the Laguna Coast Wilderness and its neighbor, Crystal Cove Park. The tail is perfect for biking, hiking, running, photography, and more! The trail winds and weaves through stunning canyons, along gorgeous ridgelines, and down through Crystal Cove State Park. The coastal cliffs and the beachfront cove stretch for 3 miles and include tide pools, a 1,400 acre marine Conservation area as well as an underwater park, 400 acres of bluffs, and 2,400 acres of canyons. The area is home to over 180 different species of birds including Turkey Vulture, Mourning Dove, Ring-billed Gull, the Common Raven, the Greater Roadrunner, Quail, and the House Sparrow. You may also see some of the roughly 26 registered reptiles including the California legless lizard, Pacific Tree Frog, Pacific Gopher Snake, Coast Horned Lizard, and more.
